We are completely confused and puzzled by what is happening with the authorities. As many of you might have read on papers and media updates, the guidelines of sports industry operation issued by the government agency was in a COMPLETE mess. We cannot even begin to express our disappointment, not just about closure, but more about the absolutely ever-changing rules almost every other day!

On 04 May, the government announced that ALL gyms and fitness studios are to be closed. On 07 May, they changed the idea and that our gym which is categorized under "Sports Instituions" are allowed to remain opened. On 08 May, they called for a dialogue (with an hour's notice) to make amendments to new regulations again.

Finally on 11 May, result was released that all sports facilities may only offer low intensity activity, with no common usage of weights, punching bags, kick pads, skipping ropes and no strength, resistance or high intensity training.

With all of the above points, how is Muay Thai training possible? While we understand that some gyms will continue to offer such "adjusted" training routine, we at Naksu are unwilling to compromise our quality for monetary income eoth watered-down low intensity training without pads or bags.

Such quality is not Muay Thai, such quality not Naksu. Hence we will continue on closure till a later date, please stay tune to our social media for latest update.

All clients with existing packages will have their validity extended accordingly so please do not worry.

Naksu Muay Thai Gym

We are glad to inform that we are permitted to continue operations. However do give us a few days to made some preparations. Due to public holiday next week and also our staff on leave, we will be closed in the upcoming week 08 May (Sat) - 15 May (Sat).

Our gym is 2000 sqf (185 sqm). Given the government's restriction of 8 sqm per pax, we can accommodate up to 23 pax per class. However, to safeguard our clients and staff, we will limit the class size to 20 pax per session on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please ensure to scan the contact tracing QR code outside the gym, take temperature and use the hand sanitizer provided at the entrance before entry.

Some important points to note :-
1. Please do NOT come to the gym if you are not feeling 100% well (especially with flu symptoms) or had been in contact with any potential Covid patients.
2. Please do NOT to come in a group of more than 5 pax.
3. Mask must be worn when not training.
4. Please do NOT intermingle after training. We understand that some guys are handsome and some girls are beautiful, but we stress again please do NOT mingle with people outside your group.
5. Please ensure safe distancing between one another.

All clients with existing packages will have their validity extended 7 days due to the closure.

We will be back full force on 17 May (Mon), can't wait to see you guys!

The government has announced that all gyms and fitness studios to be closed on 08 May - 30 May. The last day of training before closure is on 07 May (Fri). Let's hope that gyms and fitness studios will be allowed to resume operation on 31 May (Mon).

Meanwhile there is nothing anyone of us can do except to make light of the situation by posting this funny pic.
